Great camera overall, I have a 5DM3 and the controls are quite similar so no learning curve to speak of. I really appreciate being able to zoom in on the touch screen and especially love the wifi feature which is very useful where I’m official photographer at dog shows, and also for portrait…

My choice of a full frame camera was between the 5DS and the new 5D Mk IV. Given that low light performance and focusing speed are more important to me than ultimate pixel count, I opeted for the latter. The image quality from the 5D IV is fantastic, even down to the lowest light levels.

Stunning results at the first two events I used it at. Went from EOS V Mk II to EOS V Mk IV and can get more keepers and use far higher ISO values at low light non-flash indoor venues.
I am very happy with my purchase and have no reservations in recommending it.

The best all round camera that you can currently buy. I do love this camera because in regards to usability nothing comes close. Dual pixel autofocus and the touch screen make this an incredible performer.

Truly amazing piece of kit, and particularly good for taking photos in low light. I used to (reluctantly) use flash for photographing classical concerts with my Canon 760. With the 5D MkIV I get superb results without any flash.

Has replaced a EOS 1Ds mk2, so if had a lot to live up to. However the new features and improvements have left me in no doubt that I have bought the right camera. I was impressed how easy it was to use, especially without constant reference to a handbook.

Wow what a camera, to make it perfect I would look to have 10fps burst then it would have the best of everything. the controls are intuitive, presets are easily configurable and it is a joy to work with. I purchased mine with a Canon EF 16-35mm f4 L IS USM Lens and wow a whole new world.

Have upgraded from a 6D and am really impressed with the improvement in the autofocus system and have customised the focussing and switch from spot to servo onto the back buttons. The touch screen is brilliant. I’ve found it all quick and easy to handle and the images excellent.

This camera came and every other photo was out of focus. Not sure if this was a “backfocusing “ issue or just a lemon. Great picture quality when it actually focused. My 5D mark II was and still is my go to camera. Maybe I will try a different body or wait for the next generation 5D mark IV.

The canon 5d Mark IV is a heavy duty camera for heavy duty photographers! Living on the island of Kauai I am always challenged with rain, wind, sand and sun, I could not capture life on the islands with out my Canon 5D Mark IV. Nothing I have ever owned has stood up to the elements like this camera.

Amazing camera for any professional photographer. It is not great for anyone wanting to use it for video, it lacks a usable 4K format. But the dual auto focus is outstanding.

Brilliant camera, not only capture’s great images, but also feels like an extension to your hand. Such a smooth operation, along with precision images, a great tool to use. I enjoy taking photos of race car’s in action, along with everyday photos, you couldn’t ask for anything better.

I just bought this beats, I owned the 7D mark II for 5 years, and definitelly a great value, before that one I owned the Canon 60D, so it was just a matter of time for me to jump to full frame, I already made some shots and used it for some works, and even though I still nedd to invest in some more…

I got this when the pandemic started so I could spend more time social distancing while doing wildlife photography. It is definitely an upgrade from my t3i (that still works and is decent) . This does better in low light which I like and I like the focus settings that you can change .

Nice upgrade from my 70D. Really enjoy the full frame sensor. Built in GPS is also really handy. Am just starting to get my head around all of the feature, but the photos taken so far have been high quality.

This is a beast of a camera. Very easy to use when you have learned the controls – ergonomically comfortable with the controls at your fingertips. It will be a hard task to improve on this design. I am thoroughly happy with it and am considering buying a second body when finances allow.

As a keen wildlife photographer, I have been using the 7DmkII. Decided I would love to go full frame. Chose the 5Dmkiv, as it has excellent low light capabilities (unlike the 7DmkII). Most wildlife is more active around dusk and dawn, this seemed the obvious choice.

After renting this camera for a commercial shoot, I fell in love. Between that rental and using the mk4 for several shoots in the last few weeks, here’s my list of pros/cons so far:
    Pros:
    – It performs significantly better in low light compared to the 5Dmkii and the 6D.

My first Canon was an A1 which I bought in 1981. Since then I have never owned a camera that wasn’t a Canon. 40 years later, via 4 Ixus’s, 3 Powershots, a 10D, 5D, 5D and 5D Mark II (which I kept for 10 years), I bought the 5D Mark IV. What a difference.

Even after just a few days of shooting (not too many days with good light at this time of a year) I can tell the difference. It confirms that the decision to upgrade my camera was the right one.

I bought the 5D to replace a 6D and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s quite a big jump up in price compared with the 6D, which reflects the general robustness of the camera as much as the additional features, resolution and the boost in dynamic range.
