I use PDFs daily so was happy to give this extra a trial run; given I use PDFs without this additional I often have to find ways round doing the things I need to, but for my use anyway, this extra have completely resolved this.
This was very easy to download and set up, taking no more than 10 minutes, and after which it was ready to go (and will remain so for the next 12 months!).
I’ve given this a trial run, trying to do most things I normally would want to with PDFs, and can confirm it comes in very handy for both personal and professional use. This enables you to edit text and designs of PDFs without having to convert, however, it allows you to easily convert to Word, Excel, ePub too. You can sign PDF forms with this; a very handy feature now nearly everything is done online! It also allow you to secure files by encrypting them; something I previously had to do on Word – removing the hassle of placing a PDF within a Word document and/or converting the PDF to word. I found you are also able to annotate with this which is helpful for loads, for example you can anonymise documents, add notes or highlight text.
Overall this gives access to quite a few different tools within PDF that are so very helpful and all work very well; it actually makes using PDFs preferable to Word, etc. now that I can do what I want with them. The price is not unreasonable for a piece of kit such as this is, but certainly it isn’t the cheapest for use on only one system. I’d recommend though and it’d be hard to go back to the basic PDF system after using this!
