I have had numerous WiFi routers over the years and this is by far the most full featured and easy setup. This router replaced my previous router that left parts of my home without coverage. I now have full coverage and as a bonus it replaced a network switch due to it’s included 8-port switch.

I went from an asus 1209ac router to this one. The results were night and day. My ISP is giving me about 400 megs and I was only doing 79 megs with my old one. Once U replaced it I was using all my bandwidth and have not seen it drop when using multiple devices.

This router prevents DNS address on you local subnet. There is no reason why a TCP/IP network can not have a DNS server on your local subnet. Linksys routers allow this. This limitation prevents installing AD Blockers like PiHole that set on your subnet and intercepts DNS request and doesn’t respond…

Yes, you can pay more. If you don’t buy this router, you probably will. It’s just awesome. Coverage everywhere and most importantly for my needs – eight wired ports! Outstanding value and a great product.

We have 45+ WiFi devices through out our home plus 6 Ethernet direct connect PC’s/tablets/Tvs and they all stay connected and have high speed thru put! Our WoW modem/router combo just could not keep up and kept dropping some of the smart devices and showing a fraction of the bandwidth we were paying…

I’ve owned the Archer for over a month at this point. I haven’t needed to reset it, or do anything else to it, since first setting it up. The review summary says it all… the range on the 2.4 GHz band is greats- no issues getting signal on the third floor when the router is on the first floor.

I wish non-enterprise routers supported routing the entire internet connection through a VPN. This limitation is software based and feels arbitrary. Some devices I have don’t support routing through a VPN on their own and being able to use my router to do so instead would’ve been a world of…

This is still one of the best routers on the market, and the second one I have owned. I have also installed 6 of these for clients. The speeds are consistent, and mine are usually maxed out. I have never had to restart it, except for firmware updates.

Replaced a router that no longer communicated with the MODEM. Easy install and virtually every device and an extender immediately longed in and received a new IP address. The biggest surprise were the extended range and incredible speeds.

Amazing router. My older router was about 8 years old, worked fine but time for an upgrade as I had just built a new rig and upgrading my phones and Modem. The user interface is simple (a little to simple for me, I don’t like that) and it worked within minutes with minimal input. I love this thing.

Turned the Starlink modem off, made all the connections for the LAN and WAN, powered up the modem then router. BAM! Set up WiFi and all devices were recognized VERY quickly. Always had been a Netgear fan (AX4); never again.

Alas after properly set up everything (not rocket science as I am a software engineer), I could not get any device to access the internet via the router despite all the settings being correct, indicators showing that I should be…

This router exceeded my expectations. Far superior than netgear. The only bad thing about it is that you can’t turn off QOS. Wi-Fi range is great. The speeds are great.

The product fails often and needs to be rebooted daily. Signal is unreliable and there are major firmware issues. I would not recommend this product. Wish I could return it.

This router is perfect for my needs. Set-up was easy following the step-by-step instructions provided. Eight gigabit ports allows me to connect my four network switches and directly connect my NAS to the router. Connecting my NAS to the link aggregation ports really improves throughput.

I recently installed the TP-Link AX6000 router. I replace a Net Gear piece of junk. The new router was easy to configure and offers excellent speed.

Pros: Everything’s pretty good on this except.. Con: The beamforming causes drops when you move from one spot to another If you’re playing an online game on your phone over wifi from this router, and move from one place to another, 3 times out of 4 you will get disconnected.

You are unable to disable the QoS feature on this device. This causes all upload connections to be limited to ~300Mbps & Downloads to ~650Mbps. This entirely defeats the purpose of this device supporting 2.5Gbps WAN Connections or 1Gbps LAN Connections.

Tried others, crazy issues with set up and no customer support… This one, you downloaded phone app, it not only just ask for info, it gave you choices including “I don’t know” then it found the answer… 5 min your up and running…

This is a replacement from my last TP-Link router. TP-Link routers came highly recommended to me from my work’s IT staff. I must admit it was easier to install than other brands and works fluidly. I’m going to go over specs and just say it is reliable.
