Got this card for one occasion but ended up using it for another. It was loved by the recipient and she won’t feel guilty when all the flutterbys (sic) get old and die – because they’ll be flutterbys FOREVER! I don’t have a lot of money for gifts, so at the price of these beautiful pop-up cards, I fulfill two needs at the same time – a heartfelt message on a card that indicates real caring, and a present to last as long as the card is around.

My mother loved it – I like the way there is an inner card you can slide out and write whatever you like. Opens up to a lush display of butterflies – very uplifting (and a good reminder to plant lots of flowers and milkweed for the monarch butterflies!) Suitable for keeping as a small centerpiece or bookshelf.

It’s a bit pricey but so much more elaborate and beautiful than the $7-$8 cards you get in the store. Really nice for a special person. Gave to my sister. She makes her own beautiful cards so it was nice to give her something that as special as hers.
